That is great news! Like your new motto says, if it is meant to be, it will be. Definitely better weather here in these parts, it 78 and sunny down here today!
That's cool they are willing to pay for your relocating, you really have nothing to loose if you get the job, it would be worth a shot trying it out. I hope 2009 is a good year for you :)
Thanks - I hope so too! I want 2009 to be my best year to date. Damn it. :) It IS cool that they are willing to pay for relocation, because that would be the only way I could swing it right now. I'm thinking that means they pay well... I believe it is in Memphis. The only down side is trying to sell a house right now is impossible...
Oh yeah, I guess selling can be an issue right now I forgot about that, getting too excited for you :) Yes, relocating long distance costs a ton of money, especially if you have a lot of crap like I did.
At this point, I think I would sell A LOT of stuff and go minimal. Maybe I could rent out the house - my mom will still live here and she could check on it. Who knows. I have NO IDEA what MY future holds at this point...there are so many things that could happen.
well if it's serious..negotiate having them sell your house and throw in some closing costs for a new one in TN. If it is a big enough company they might be able to buy you out and then sell it themselves. That is what big companies in houston do...well back when the housing market/econ was good. who knows what they do these days. but at least a question to ask or a point to negotiate. ~nichole
That is a great idea! It would be great if they could do that but you can always rent your house out now like you said, at least your mom is there to watch over things, and hey if things didn't work out at least you can go back home with no worries about where to live. I guess going on the interview is the first step :) We alrady have you moving 2,000 miles away.

ReplyDeleteThanks! And Yes, I'm open to ANYTHING right now! I'm going with the flow... God, 78 degrees sounds like Heaven right now...ug.
