Wake Up, Mom!
This is what I wake up to. I open my eyes, and there is a dog in my face requiring attention. You cannot ignore, or you are barked at and pawed, or licked to death. They are worse than kids.
LOL! I'm sorry, I know that is probably not funny to you, but that made me snarf my mocha! Did he/she have a big doggie smile on with a wagging tail? That's what mine do when they bring me yucky stuff from the back yard.
I wish I could get another Cairn puppy (or two) right now :), but my husband and I now take care of his older cats (long story). I've never had cats before, but I've gotten really attached to these two. When the time is right again, I may get a couple of older cairns who need a home.
at least yours did not bring you a chunk of the flooring from the back porch like mine....
