Before I do my ACTUAL usual nightly post...

Y'all heard about the nice earthquake in Southern California, right? (or felt it...) Yes indeedy! Just a few miles from where I will be traveling in a few days. Neat, huh? Chino Hills had a 5.4, which is not a huge quake, but in a populated area like LA, you'll rock and roll. Some friends I have there said it was long and pretty jolty - with tons of aftershocks so far. No reports of any major damage or casualties yet. My positive and optimistic outlook thinks it could be a precursory earthquake. I guess I'll find out. They closed down the rides at Disneyland for inspection. This is what really concerns me. I'm going there. and it BETTER be open! Stupid earthquakes.

It was kinda fun actually. I was at work about 30 miles from Chino Hills and the building was swaying big time. It was long. Felt like 15 seconds at least. Doesn't sound long but it feels like it's never going to stop.

I remember when this happened it Seattle and it was not fun. I was pissing my pants under my desk thinking I was going to die and I didn't want to die alone so I crawled under my neighbors desk. We like clutched each other. It was rather gay, but I didn't give a shit.

Look at it this way....maybe you'll have DISNEYLAND to yourself!!!! 8)
